Lawyers must maintain professional liability insurance in accordance with Section 51 of the Federal Lawyers' Act and notaries in accordance with Section 19a of the Federal Notaries' Act. Our professional liability insurance exists worldwide through AXA Versicherung AG, address: Colonia-Allee 10-20, 51067 Cologne, postal address: 51171 Cologne, but does not cover liability claims brought before US courts on the basis of non-German liability law.
